To make the ZIOBAFFA Rosso we harvest the organic grapes of Sangiovese and other varieties from the vineyards located very close to the Tuscan coast.

We blend the Sangiovese with other varieties in order to obtain a very mild and elegant Tuscan classic rich of black cherry and blackberry savors that meet up with smooth tannins.

The long, juicy aftertaste echoes fruit, spice and earth notes. This is also a perfect clean summer red if served fresh.

Bottled and labeled with bio-safe materials. Featuring the new Helix™ re-usable cork seal.

Toscana Rosso from Tuscany

The 2012 vintage was harvested during the filming of the “BELLA VITA” movie. The film crew and a group of our friends gave their help to gather the grapes, taking part in our harvest celebration lunch. Film director Jason Baffa wanted to point out this Tuscan tradition, portraying it as a magical moment which is why he filmed entirely on 35mm. The joining of two great traditions.

We connected two stories, two types of knowledge into a friendship. This is where the wine project was born. ZIOBAFFA is now something that binds us together. That is teaching us every day to strive ensuring a better world for our children and future generations whilst maintaining respectability for our past. What better than The Toscana Red wine from organic farming as an ambassador of this message?
